Real Talk on Neurodivergence, Movement, and Overcoming the Odds

Bayley Garnham is a qualified personal trainer, Olympic powerlifting competitor, and neurodivergent advocate who’s turned his own experience with dyspraxia into a platform that’s reshaping how people think about movement, mental health, and what’s possible.

Diagnosed with dyspraxia, Bayley didn’t let a body that “wasn’t built for sport” stop him from becoming a competitive lifter – or from building a business helping others do the same. He’s spoken candidly on national media and podcasts about growing up neurodivergent, why exercise is harder to start (and stick to) for some brains more than others, and how the fitness industry can do better at making movement accessible for everyone.

What Bayley Talks About

  • Living and training with dyspraxia
  • Why neurodivergent brains need movement – and why we avoid it
  • Building an accessible, judgement-free training environment
  • Turning perceived weakness into competitive strength
  • Mental health, discipline, and identity through sport
  • Making fitness spaces genuinely inclusive for disabled and neurodivergent clients
